MADONNA - AMERICAN LIFE (REMIX) UK 1-SIDED ACETATE 12" VINYL owned by PAUL OAKNEFOLD

Official & Scarce 2003 UK  'Heathmans Mastering' 1-sided ultra-high grade metal based methyl cellulose lacquer 12" Acetate with a white centre custom 'Heathmans" typed label which is also duplicated on the sleeve.

Comes with labels stating this was mastered and cut by 'Beau Thomas' and is dated 23/05/2003 and comes from the personal collection of the Superstar DJ and Madonna remixer "Paul Oakenfold" whose 'Downtempo remix' is featured on numerous commercial released of the 'American Life' single release.

Housed in a grey "Heathmans Mastering" sleeve with one track made & used by Paul Oakenfold -

Acetates are made in very small numbers to either assess the quality of a particular recording or sometimes they are cut & sent to the studio & artist for approval as well as (probably in this case) being cut by remixers for use and play out on the circuit.  Most are issued long before any official release and are rarely seen on the open market and can include unreleased mixes.

Original Acetate the B side of the disc is blank with no grooves and a double hole which is common with most acetates, purchased directly from a high end auction house when 'Paul Oakenfold' himself sold off hundreds of items from is personal collection (we can confirm we purchased two of these same discs in the same lot), for provenance we can include original purchase info to the buyer if required.

In Excellent+ Condition with on the slightest wear from use to the acetate and some white specs on the sleeve & small seam split.
