EVITA COSTUME JEWELLERY (SET OF 3) - FILM USED WITH PROVENANCE

MADONNA - COSTUME JEWELLERY FROM THE FILM EVITA
   
Three sets of costume jewellery from the Madonna as Eva Peron 1996 movie 'Evita' housed inside two "Saratoga Trunk" jewellery boxes and a pouch, each piece is set in gilt metal & includes  

• matching necklace & pair of earrings with floral motif in green & amber
• matching necklace & pair of clip on earrings in pink & diamonte
• matching necklace & brooch in pink

These are actual costume items from the movie which were originally purchased soon after the film was released from the reputable  "Saratoga Trunk" in February 1997.

As provenance we will include the original two 1997 receipts as shown partially in the photos from Saratoga Trunk Yesteryear Costume & Textiles, 57 West Regent Street, Glasgow which lists each piece individually & states in writing they were used in the film Evita starring Madonna, one receipt has a note and is signed by the antique clothing  store owner "Cathie Mclay"

While we currently don't have any stills of Madonna wearing the jewellery, the receipts act as provenance they were used in Evita (although maybe by other characters), hence the price is not into four figures per piece.  (if you search the internet you can find many pages about Cathie's store loaning / supplying costumes for Evita including a mention on Madonnatribe  Evita costumist dies - MadonnaTribe Decade  

Sold in a set of three due to all being listed on the same proof receipt, costume jewellery is in excellent condition as per images.
