Official eighties in-house USA platinum sales award issued to commemorate the sale of more than 1 million copies of the debut album "Madonna" awarded to the longtime head of promotion for Warner Bros. 'Stu Cohen' with a plaque engraved with the Sire logo.

A handsomely framed & glazed award measures approx 17" x 21" & features a platinum LP complete with the custom engraved plaque with authentic Sire logo and also a mounted Platinum Disc with artwork for the debut album 'Madonna' with the original 'Jewel Box Platinum' CA, USA framers sticker on the back stating under licence for RIAA

Now 35+ years old the disc has been displayed since the eighties and the frame carries signs of wear with  general marks &  scratches with some crinkling across the bottom of the black background.
