MADONNA - SEX BOOK 1992 NEW YORK LAUNCH PARTY SET from WARNER BROS.

A super scarce original set of Madonna Sex Book 1992 Launch Party items direct from the "Warner Bros." archives. The Madonna "Sex Book" was revealed at an exclusive, invitation only party on October 15, 1992 at "Industria SuperStudio", New York. Featured here is a set of exclusive items from the WB offices & the filing cabinet of Liz Rosenberg / Christine Wolff which includes the actual film positive & print used in production for the invitation amongst numerous other related items -

• A original party invite which has eight grommets on the front (the ones sent out were tied together with a black ribbon - not included), folds open to reveal a S&M inspired invitation showing the iconic pink "Madonna in bondage" artwork with the relevant party address & RSVP info. This invitation card is extremely hard to find & here is the original invite used in production and since archived in the office for 3 decades.
• The original colour print with the artwork as used in the production process for the party invitation, which measures approximately 8" x 5.5 inches and has design text notes written over the image in blue marker pen,  a totally unique item used to produce the actual invite.
• The original super scarce colour positive measuring 4" by 5 inches in size used for the production of the invitation card. This is the "one of a kind" original photo positive which was designed and used to produce the invite.
• A set of four 8" x 10 inch colour photos showing the staff dressed as nuns working at the launch party, printed on quality kodak photo paper with each photo bordered with a white frame.
• A set of six 4" x 6 inch colour photos of the staff dressed as nuns working at the launch party with matching original negatives affixed to the back of each photo.
• A set of three original & official laminated passes used for the "Sex Book Launch Party" event which includes one press pass & two staff passes, each pass is double sided, laminated and features the same Madonna Erotica image on  each side, all measuring 5" x 3 inches.​​​

Everything is housed in an original Warner Bros. mailer envelope which is addressed for the attention of "Christine Wolff" (Liz Rosenberg's assistant) with "Sex Party" written on the front for storage / archival purposes. 

This set comes directly from the Warner Bros offices via a former employee & came with an abundance of paperwork from Madonna's long-time publicist "Liz Rosenberg". Included is the original "one of a kind" colour film positive and print used for marketing & production of the iconic "Sex Book Launch Party" invitation as well as an original invitation card,  also all items are housed inside a cream colour filing folder from the Warner Bros filing cabinet titled "Madonna - Book & Album Party 10/15/92".
