Original 1985 set of two different black & white promotional publicity associated press wire laser photos measuring approximately 10" x 8" issued to a US newspapers for print reporting on Madonna's Virgin Tour,  includes -

1. 'The Virgin Tour', featuring a live Madonna image,  with info text which reads "(SE9) SEATTLE, April 10-- OPENS TOUR -- Rock singer Madonna sings in Seattle Wednesday night as she opened  a national tour. It is the first tour for the rock star who has multi million-selling records and stared in the movie "Desperately Seekeing Susan"  (AP LaserPhoto) (brs41250stf/ barry sweet) 1985".. Printed as an AP Laser photo on thin glossy paper. which is 9.5 x 8 inches in size.

Official photo has been used by a US media outlet and came in a collection of different early era Madonna publicity photos, all have been used for print publicity purposes and as seen in the photos this item has a red marker around the Madonna text and is pressed on thin glossy photo paper as a laser photo. A piece of Madonna history and the original info / photo used to report her very first concert performance.

Now 40+ years old with general storage creases as per images , In used very good+ condition 

2. Original 1985 11" x 8" black & white promotional publicity press laser photo issued to a US newspaper for print reporting on the Radio City Hall, New York 'Virgin Tour', featuring a live Madonna photo ,  with info text which reads "(NY85 NEW YORK, June 6 -- SINGIN' HER HEART OUT -- Madonna, popular rocker sings for her fans at Radio City Music Hall in New York Thursday night. (AP Laserphoto)  (mmm52255str / Mario Suriani) 1985"   Printed as a Laser photo on thin glossy newspaper style paper.

Official photo has been used by a US media outlet and came in a collection of different early era Madonna publicity photos, all have been used for print publicity & press purposes. Printed on thin newspaper glossy photo paper as a laser photo (rather than a normal 10x8 glossy photo), used by the press as the original template to print the publication.

In used very good+ condition with light creases, a corner crease & discolouring to the paper from age as seen in all photos.

A note about wire service photos: Wire service photos from the 1970s/1980s/1990s are *not* traditional glossy photos. They were transmitted electronically to magazines and newspapers around the world and then printed out on special thermal paper printers in the newsroom. Associated Press wire photos of this era have a sepia tone to them due to the chemicals used in printing; the image converts to a nice black and white when scanned. United Press International wire photos are whiter and brighter; the thermal paper they’re printed on is thinner than the crisper AP paper stock, almost like fax paper
